Ghosting is too normal in this trade. Heather in the office reads every request, and you hear from a person.

Great landscaping service. I worked with Grant and Abe. Both were good at communicating. Abe and his crew fantastic and the result looks awesome. We had a bunch of rock dropped off and the delivery driver nicked our gate but Grant offered to repair it and ordered a replacement part for the fix. That's top notch.

Perfect service. Called about getting the yard cleared and areas mulched on Friday, they came out the same day. Mulch arrived earlier than expected and they came out to meet it and in half a day had everything looking perfect. Even put back my daughter's fairy garden. Worked with me on a fair price and just solid people all around.

LOVED working with Grantlanta. I worked with Zach B to get a huge, overgrown swath of my backyard fully cleared. Zach was diligent about communicating and scheduling, and was kind and knowledgeable. Grant himself also assisted in the clearing and hauling, which I really appreciated. All in all, an excellent experience and I’m excited to keep working with them in the future.

Nice people, quality work, fair pricing and responsive service. What more could you want? Grantlanta has done several big jobs for us in a particularly wild part of our yard, and they always work quickly and without hassle. We’re glad to hire them and support a local company.

Grantlanta did an excellent job resetting my front and back yard allowing me to keep my sanity given the amount of rain that resulted in a ton of overgrowth. They removed and cleaned everything we discussed and mulched where it needed to be mulched. All was done on time with great attention to detail. I’m very happy with the result, to say the least.

    The Grantlanta story

He set out to get outside more. He ended up building a neighborhood.

    1. The show

Grant spent years as a touring musician. After a show at the Royal American in Charleston, he decided he wanted a healthier, more rooted life back home in Atlanta, and figured pushing a mower was a good place to start.

    2. The mower

He posted in a few neighborhood groups: I'll mow your yard, pay me what you think it's worth. He was happy just to be outside and useful. One of his first customers told him he was too good at this to not have a real price, so he set one.

    3. The name

There wasn't one at first. Neighbors saved him in their phones as "Grant Mower Guy." A year or two in, his wife came up with Grantlanta, and it stuck.

    4. The neighborhood

Thousands of yards later, Grant Mower Guy had become Grantlanta Lawn: a crew of specialists, an office that answers, and neighbors who keep calling back. Along the way he noticed how hard it was to find anyone reliable for the rest of the house, so he helped start the Southern Shmooze to cover everything beyond the yard.

"One tiny decision created a million fantastic decisions."Grant Wallace, owner

Today Grant leads the office side and trusts a crew of specialists who live in the neighborhoods they work in. He still plays shows on weekends.

    Questions

Can you give me a quote over the phone?

Not an accurate one. Almost every quote happens in person, because a yard that sounds like a simple mow can need two passes to bring down, and what you see from the street rarely matches the back. Estimates are free, and seeing it first means nobody overpays and nobody gets underquoted.

Do you work with my budget?

Yes. We factor in your budget on every job. If a quote comes in higher than you planned, tell us. There is often a way to phase the work or scale it so it fits.

Is there a minimum job size?

No. We take small jobs and big ones.

How fast will I hear back?

The form at the top of the page is the fastest way to reach us, and Heather in the office goes through every one. We are a small, local crew. During busy seasons, if you have not heard from us within 3 business days, it usually means we are fully booked or your street is outside our crews' routes right now.

Do you have electric, quieter equipment?

Yes. Our Quiet ATL crew runs fully electric lawn equipment, so there is no gas engine noise and no exhaust. Ask for it when you request your estimate.

What happens when the job is done?

We walk it with you. If we missed something, we take care of it before we leave.

    How do I pay?

Installation projects take a deposit to get on the schedule, and the balance is due when the job is done. We accept credit and debit cards, ACH, Venmo and Zelle.
